Over the years, several pod systems have hit the market. One of the best pods to ever be released is the Tance Max by Eleaf.

Eleaf is not a stranger to the vape market. The company has many devices already like the iTap Pod Kit, Elven, IWu Pod, and more.

What’s in The Box

Eleaf does a pretty good job in packaging their product. The Tance Max device comes in a simple rectangular cardboard box.

Inside the box, you will find the Tance Max Battery, and one Tance Max Cartridge in a Styrofoam holder. The kit also contains one GS Air M 0.6ohm Head, one GS Air S 1.6ohm Head, one TYPE-C USB cable, and one User Manual.

You can purchase the Eleaf Tance Max device at the Eleaf World online store for around $30.92-$36.80 depending on your region.

Design and Build Quality

The Tance Max measures 101mm tall, 31mm wide, and 20.5mm thick, which is about average for a standard pod, only it is a bit thicker. The entire device weighs 87.5g, which is heavy but not too heavy.

The shape of the Tance Max nullifies its bulkiness. It has smooth beveled sides, and a lot of clean edges, so it is comfortable to hold in your hand, and even carry around in your pocket or bag. The weight of the device gives it a solid and well-built feel.

There are a variety of color options for the Tance Max.  No matter your taste, you will surely find one that is a good suit.

The Tance Max has a 1100mAh internal battery, which is an amazing feature. Thanks to its low voltage, you will be able to use the device for a whole day or more depending on how frequently you vape.

The device features TYPE-C USB charging, which is much faster than a regular Micro-USB. The USB-C can recharge the device from zero to full in under an hour, which is very fast for a 1100mAh battery.

There is a rectangular button on the front of the device. You need five clicks to turn the Tance Max on/off. The button takes just about enough pressure to activate it, and you do not have to worry about the device accidentally going off in your pocket.

The firing button lights up to indicate the device’s current battery level. It shows green when the battery is between 100%-60%, blue when the battery is between 59%-20%, and red when you need to recharge.

Pod Design

One of the trump cards of this pod device is its e-juice capacity. The pod in the Tance Max Kit is refillable and can hold 4ml of e-juice, which is a generous amount for a pod system. The pod also doubles as the mouthpiece of the device.

The kit comes with only one pod, but the device uses replaceable coils. The 0.6 ohm GS Air M coil is a mesh wire coil that produces an airy draw. On the other hand, the 1.6 ohm GS Air coil is a stainless steel regular round wire coil that delivers a more restricted draw. The device has two airflow holes which help boost the flavor output. You will not encounter any spit backs or gurgling from any of the coils.

Like most pods, the Tance Max pod is slightly tinted, just about enough to let you see the amount of e-juice left. On the top of the device are magnetic connectors that hold the pod in place so it does not wiggle. There are raised lines on the pod that help you grip it when you need to remove it for a refill or to change the coil.

The pod uses a rotary bottom-fill method, which is a very secure filling system. The fill port is on the underside of the pod, and it is large enough to accommodate all bottle nozzles and even droppers. The pod is designed to be leak-free, so you do not have to worry about spilling your favorite e-juice.

Verdict

Although the Tance Max Pod System is aimed at mouth-to-lung vapers, it is possible to get direct lung hits from the device. If you are looking to buy a portable, powerful pod system, the Tance Max is your best bet.
